willow balls are actually terrible, causing allergic reactions, and should be banned. heres why.

the willow balls have been a big tradition at the eras tour recently and its also a fun and sweet gesture to taylor!

however, recently things have taken a turn.

first of all, people are not throwing away these balloons in a good manner at all. people just carelessly let them go (which is absolutely horrible for the environment, as it could just land in nature and an animal sees it, thinking its food, and digests it!) or pop it during the show after the willow performance is done

leave it there on the ground.

if u let ur balloon go (which is what a lot of people are doing--at least the people who participate in the activity), it could hit somebody on stage including tay herself, even if its not what u intended. they could also land on the stage if ur standing close to the stage and somebody could easily slip on it (like taylor or any of her dancers or backup vocalists)

it could also hit a security guard, and even-if ur very close to the stage-hit a button on the stage that controls the light or the screen something very important like that

and so. many. people. have allergies that can be easily upset by the material of the willow balloons. it can cause flare-ups especially if u are moving it around a lot and shaking it bc it can accidentally brush against somebody and it can affect them a lot and make them have an allergic reaction.

and im assuming ur a nice person, so im sure u wouldnt want someone to have an allergic reaction, right?

and finally, the noise of u popping can be very disturbing. first of all, it can scare many people around u and also if people are not looking at u and do not know that ur holding a balloon, people might like u just $ho* someone.

PLEASE STOP USING WILLOW BALLOONS.

SPREAD THE NEWS AND GET THIS BANNED!!!!

three little girls were k!lled and seven other little girls were badly injured in a mass stabbing at a taylor swift inspired dance party....this is just absolutely horrifying and terrible

rip to the little girl, fly high angel. you will be missed.

and to the seven injured girls i am deeply concerned and hope that they are nursed back to health immediately

edit / update august 4: the girls who are currently in the hospital were sent personalized balloons from taylor herself. <3 this is so sweet. i will not be sharing a photo for their privcay ofc.
