travis revealed on his podcast w jason (new heights) that he jokingly suggested to tay the idea of him riding onto the stage on one of the bikes during blank space for the 1989 era on the eras tour. 

"how funny it would be if i just like rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era--she started laughing!
